Delete your Cently account

An account only exists if you signed in, which Cently needs for sync, the family vault and Ask Cently. Everything else lives on your phone, with no account at all.

In the app

  1. 1Open Cently and go to Settings.
  2. 2Open the Privacy dashboard.
  3. 3Tap Delete my Cently account and confirm.

Your account and everything our server holds for it are deleted immediately.

Without the app

  1. 1Email support@nodemint.dev from the address you signed in with.
  2. 2Use the subject Delete my Cently account.
  3. 3We delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days.

We only act on requests from the address the account belongs to.

What is deleted

  • Your account. We never stored your email address itself: accounts are identified by a one-way hash of it, which goes too.
  • Your end-to-end encrypted sync data
  • Your family vault membership and the keys shared with you
  • Your Ask Cently daily question counts

What is kept, and for how long

  • Server request logs, for up to 30 days, then deleted
  • Purchase records held by the App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat, as the stores require. Cancel a subscription in your store's settings: deleting the account does not cancel it.
  • Data on your phone stays until you remove it: Privacy dashboard → Delete everything, or uninstall the app.

Never signed in? Then there is no account to delete: all of your data is on your phone, and Delete everything in the Privacy dashboard removes it. Privacy Policy
